Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours)
The Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours program offers graduates an orientation in health specific research. Areas for research may include the medical sciences, medical and allied health, public health, indigenous health, international health, organisational communication, health systems and many others.
The program consists of a literature review with an oral presentation (arguing the case for the project), a course on thesis preparation and the thesis itself.
The formal proposal for the research project will be based on a systematic review and critique of the relevant scientific literature. Once the new investigation has been conducted, the findings will be presented as an academic thesis. Many students will publish their findings in a relevant academic journal.
